(STATS) – Davidson’s 2016 schedule will include five home games as the Wildcats look to continue improving in coach Paul Nicholls’ fourth season.
Last year, Davidson went 2-9, earning its first Pioneer Football League win under Nicholls. The Wildcats won one game in his first two seasons.
Davidson will kick off the new season at Georgetown on Sept. 3.
The Wildcats’ games at Richardson Stadium will be against Livingstone (Sept. 17) and PFL opponents Stetson (Oct. 1, Homecoming), Butler (Oct. 15), Jacksonville (Oct. 29) and Morehead State (Nov. 19).
Quarterback Taylor Mitchell and linebacker Ben Hart are among Davidson’s key returning players.
