PITTSBURGH (AP) -Senior wide receiver T.J. Porter and senior defensive lineman Tommie Duhart have left Pitt's football team and plan to transfer to another school, according to a statement issued by coach Dave Wannstedt.
Both players were suspended from spring practice for disciplinary reasons and were dropped from the depth chart.
Porter, from Pahokee, Fla., was Pitt's third-leading receiver last season with 25 catches for 357 yards. He had four receptions for a career-high 109 yards against Rutgers. Porter had 65 catches for 704 yards and no touchdowns in three seasons, making all five of his career starts as a junior in 2007.
Duhart, from Belle Glade, Fla., started four times while playing 19 games in two seasons. His best game came when he had five tackles and a sack during Pitt's 13-9 upset of then-No. 2 West Virginia in 2007.
