Iowa State Spring Game, Saturday, 2 p.m., Jack Trice Stadium
What’s at Stake
Iowa State concludes camp with its annual spring game at Trice Stadium. Admission is free, though all seating will be on the east side of the stadium.
Key Matchup
Wide Receivers vs. Secondary. Iowa State will be looking for more out of its wideouts next fall after losing Marquis Hamilton to graduation. The hope is that Darius Reynolds and Sedrick Johnson will give the Cyclones added firepower. The secondary will be an experienced group, with four upperclassmen back as starters.
Players to Watch
RB Alexander Robinson. He had a breakout season in 2009 despite nagging injuries. A healthy Robinson could mean big things for the offense, which wasn’t as explosive as some expected last season.
Facts and Figures
and freshmen James White and Jeff Woody…Rashawn Parker will return to Trice Stadium after a knee injuy ended his 2009 season after just four games.
