KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Tennessee defensive back Brent Vinson will be out for the rest of spring practice after undergoing shoulder surgery, but is expected to be back in the fall.
The junior from Hampton, Va., underwent a successful operation on his left shoulder Wednesday.
Tennessee head athletic trainer Jason McVeigh says Vinson will miss the final eight practices of spring drills and be held to limited participation when fall training camp begins in August.
But McVeigh expects Vinson to be ready for play by the start of the regular season in September.
