CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) -Former Kansas State football coach Ron Prince is rejoining the University of Virginia’s staff as an assistant.
Virginia coach Al Groh announced Prince’s hiring Friday. Groh says Prince will coordinate special teams.
Prince was fired from the Kansas State job in November after 2 1/2 seasons in which he went 16-18.
Before joining Kansas State, Prince spent five years at Virginia, including two as offensive line coach and three as offensive coordinator.
