EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut signed a 22-member recruiting class Wednesday, despite a shakeup in Paul Pasqualoni's coaching staff after a second consecutive losing season.
The class includes five in-state recruits, including 6-foot-4 quarterback Tim Boyle, who played at Xavier High in Middletown. Boyle recently decommitted from Boston College.
Two other recruits, wide receivers Dhameer Bradley and Noel Thomas, have already enrolled at the school.
The signing of Boyle and dual-threat quarterback Kivon Taylor from Atlanta, Ga., may have cost the Huskies another recruit.
The school did not receive a letter Wednesday from 6-6 quarterback Richard Lagow of Plano, Texas, who had verbally committed to UConn.
UConn changed both offensive and defensive coordinators after finishing 5-7 for the second consecutive season under Pasqualoni.
