WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) – Rutgers’ road game against Army next season has switched venues from Yankee Stadium to West Point.
The game will be played Nov. 21 at Michie Stadium, the on-campus home of the Black Knights.
The Scarlet Knights have made 21 previous trips to West Point, including a 27-10 victory in 2009, and hold a 21-18 all-time advantage in a series that dates back to 1891.
Rutgers (8-5) finished its first season in the Big Ten with a 40-21 win over North Carolina in the Quick Lane Bowl and earned the Lambert-Meadowlands Trophy, emblematic of the top team in the East in the Bowl Subdivision.
Army finished 4-8 under first-year coach Jeff Monken, losing for the 13th straight time to archrival Navy in the season finale.
