EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) – Michigan State has promoted offensive line coach Dan Roushar to offensive coordinator.
The athletic department confirmed the move Tuesday night. Roushar will fill the spot left open by Don Treadwell, who left to become the head coach at Miami of Ohio.
Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said shortly after the season he would look in house for a replacement, and he decided on Roushar, who has been on Dantonio’s Michigan State staff for four seasons and also worked under him as an offensive line coach at Cincinnati.
Before heading to Cincinnati, Roushar was the offensive coordinator at Illinois.
