SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) -New Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly is telling his players he doesn’t have time to ask them to buy into his system.
Kelly was hired last month to replace Charlie Weis. He says he didn’t have time for a big group hug with the team. He’s asked the players to buy in unconditionally to him and his program during offseason workouts.
He said Friday he wants the Irish players to have some faith in him and get to work.
Kelly also introduced his staff, saying he expected them to have a shared philosophy and vision of success.
