The BCS championship game has some surprise guests.
Four U.S. servicemen who played in a flag football game in Iraq last month with the likes of Bobby Bowden and Jim Kelly have been reunited with some unsuspecting family members at the Auburn-Oregon game in Glendale, Ariz.
The military members all were granted short leaves from their deployments in Iraq to appear at the game, which was a surprise for their combined total of eight children. From the U.S. Army, Staff Sgt. Alton Day, Spc. Danyul Davis and Sgt. Louis Davis appeared, as did Naval Petty Officer First Class Terry Eady.
The Department of Defense granted the leave requests and the surprise reunion was arranged by Tostitos and the USO, who combined to organize the game in Iraq.
