Exhibiting the same kind of frenetic pace it plays with in games, Oregon (12-0) went through its second spirited practice at a north Phoenix high school on Tuesday in preparation for the BCS national title game.
About 20 miles away, Auburn (13-0) held its first practice in the desert without the soundtrack, but with similar intensity.
The Tigers were greeted by a large contingent of fans after arriving Monday night and appeared focused and relaxed as they finished up practice on Tuesday.
