ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) – A person familiar with the situation says Michigan and Rich Rodriguez will meet again Wednesday to discuss the embattled football coach’s future.
The person says Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon has not decided whether to fire Rodriguez, who’s 15-22 with college football’s winningest program. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to provide details of the evaluation.
Brandon and Rodriguez first met Tuesday afternoon, and a team meeting scheduled for Tuesday night also has been postponed to Wednesday afternoon.
Rodriguez’s third season ended Saturday with a 38-point loss to Mississippi State in the Gator Bowl.
