BRONX, NY (The Spread) – Notre Dame looks to pick up a bowl win when it takes on Rutgers today at Noon ET in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl on ESPN.

Notre Dame is coming off a 27-20 loss at Stanford to end the season. The Fighting Irish lost two of their final three games. Rutgers was led this season by Gary Nova, who threw for 2,159 yards and 18 touchdowns while Paul James rushed for 833 yards and nine touchdowns.

In terms of Injuries, Notre Dame safety Eilar Hardy (suspension) and quarterback Malik Zaire (illness) are both questionable for the game. Rutgers receivers Vance Matthews (back) and Leonte Carroo (upper body) are both questionable.
