ALBUQUERQUE, NM (The Spread) –  The 2012-13 College Football Bowl Season kicks off on Saturday with the New Mexico Bowl featuring Arizona taking on Nevada at 1PM ET on ESPN.

Both teams enter this game at 7-5 overall. Nevada has gone 3-9 against the spread this season while Arizona is 6-6 against the spread. The Wildcats have hit the over in 8 of their 11 lined games while Nevada has hit the over in 6 of their 11 lined games. These two teams have no recent meetings.

Nevada is led by a strong rushing attack that ranks seventh in the country at 260 yards per game. Leading the way is running back Stefphon Jefferson, who has 1,703 yards and 22 touchdowns on the season. Quarterback Cody Farjardo has added 2,530 passing yards with 17 touchdowns and 981 rushing yards with 11 scores.
