PASADENA, CA (The Spread) – The BCS Championship Game is set as No. 1 Florida State will face No. 2 Auburn on Monday, Jan. 6 at 8:30PM ET, live from the Rose Bowl.

Florida State is 13-0 on the season and 11-2 against the spread. FSU is the ACC champion while Auburn won the SEC and was 12-1 on the year and 11-2 against the spread. These two have no recent meetings.

Trends show that Auburn has hit the over in 7 of their last 8 games while Florida State has hit the over in 10 of their 13 games this season.

Florida State claimed the ACC Championship by beating Duke 45-7 last Saturday. The Seminoles have been absolutely dominant this year, averaging 53 points per game on offense while allowing just 10.7 points per game. Auburn averaged 40.2 points per game on offense this season while the defense held opponents to 24 points per game. Auburn has been led by its rushing attack, which leads the country with 335.7 yards per game. Tre Mason has rushed for 1,621 yards and 22 touchdowns while quarterback Nick Marshall has run for 1,023 yards and 11 scores. Marshall has also thrown for 1,759 yards and 12 touchdowns.

In terms of Injuries, Florida State offensive lineman Ira Denson (shoulder) is out for this game while defensive back Tyler Hunter (neck) is questionable for the contest.
