CFB Championship Week Vegas Odds
The College Football Season has gotten to Championship Week. Here’s a look at the Las Vegas Oddsmakers think of this weekend’s games.
The featured game of Championship Week is the SEC Championship Game on Saturday at 4PM ET from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The game features No. 1 Alabama taking on No. 4 Georgia. According to oddsmakers at the MGM Mirage in Las Vega, Alabama is the clear favorite in this game, as the Crimson Tide are getting odds of -13 points against the Bulldogs. Bama is 12-0 on the season, 8-4 against the spread and 8-4 with the over. Georgia is 11-1 overall, 7-5 against the spread and 6-5-1 with the over. Alabama has won four straight meetings with Georgia, including last year’s CFB Playoff Championship. The two are each 2-2 against the spread in those four meetings.
The other featured game this week is the Big 12 Championship Game, which will take place on Saturday at Noon ET from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The game features No. 5 Oklahoma against No. 9 Texas. According to oddsmakers at the MGM Mirage, Oklahoma is listed as a 7.5-point favorite against the Longhorns in this game. Oklahoma is 11-1 on the season, 4-7-1 against the spread and 11-1 with the over. Texas is 9-3 overall, 5-6-1 against the spread and 6-6 with the over/under total. Texas won the Red River Rivalry game this year, 48-45. The Longhorns have covered the spread in six straight meetings with the Sooners.
