Updated BCS Champion Odds
(The Spread) – The 2012 College Football Season is a week away from announcing who will play for the BCS National Championship. Here is a look at the updated odds to win that game.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Alabama is once again the favorite to win, as the Crimson Tide have odds of 4/7 to win the national title. Other short odds to win are Notre Dame (5/2) and Georgia (9/2).
Alabama is No. 2 in the polls and the BCS standings. The Crimson Tide are coming off a 49-0 win over rival, Auburn last week. The Tide are now 11-1 overall and will play in the SEC Championship against Georgia this Saturday.
Notre Dame is No. 1 in the polls and the BCS standings. The Fighting Irish completed a perfect regular season (12-0) on Saturday, beating USC by a score of 22-13. The Fighting Irish have essentially punched their ticket to the title game and will face the Alabama-Georgia winner.
Georgia is No. 3 in the polls and the BCS standings. The Bulldogs are 11-1 on the season and coming off a 42-10 win over Georgia Tech last week. Georgia can make it into the title game with a win over Alabama in the SEC Championship on Saturday.
