UCLA vs. Utah Odds
No. 18 Utah looks to stay in the Pac-12 mix on Saturday when it plays host to UCLA at 3:30PM ET on FOX.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Utah is the slight favorite at home, as the Utes are getting odds of -2 points against the Bruins. The over/under total for the game has been set at 56.5 points. These two have split their last six meetings, but Utah is 4-2 against the spread in those six meetings and the two have hit the under in four straight meetings.
Utah is 8-2 on the season, 5-2 in the Pac-12, 5-5 against the spread and 6-4 with the over. The Utes are tied with USC for first in the Pac-12 South, but have lost to the Trojans. Utah is coming off a 37-30 OT loss at Arizona last week, snapping a two-game win streak. The Utes also lost Devontae Booker for the season to a leg injury, severely hampering their offense. The Utah offense is averaging 33.4 points and 389.1 yards per game this season while the defense is allowing 23.1 points and 375 yards per game. Booker has run for 1,261 yards and 11 touchdowns to lead the offense while Travis Wilson, the QB is the second leading rusher with 369 yards and six scores. Wilson has also thrown for 1,804 yards and 12 touchdowns while Britain Cover has caught 41 passes for 518 yards and four scores.
UCLA is 7-3 on the year, 4-3 in the Pac-12, 4-5-1 against the spread and 7-3 with the under. UCLA is a game back of Utah and USC in the North, but plays the two over these next two weeks. The Bruins are coming off a 31-27 loss to Washington State last week to snap a three-game win streak. UCLA is now averaging 35.2 points and 497.7 yards per game on offense while giving up 25.2 points and 400.3 yards per game on defense. Paul Perkins has run for 1,082 yards and 10 touchdowns to lead the offense while Josh Rosen has thrown for 2,903 yards and 18 touchdowns as a freshman. Jordan Payton has caught 64 passes for 903 yards and four scores.
