Alabama Cruising

No. 2 Alabama takes a break from SEC play on Saturday when the Crimson Tide hosts Chattanooga at 12:20PM ET from Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Bet Chattanooga at Alabama
Alabama is 10-0 this season with a 7-3 record against the points spread odds. The Tide have covered in two straight games and all three failed covers have come at home.

The Mocs are 6-4 this season, having won two of their last three games. Saturday is Chattanooga’s season finale and first game this year against a Football Bowl Subdivision opponent.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have yet to release odds for this game.

The Tide have not been a great offensive power, scoring 30.9 points per-game, but have one of the top rushing attacks in the country behind the legs of Heisman candidate Mark Ingram. Ingram has rushed for 1,287 yards and 10 touchdowns while catching 25 passes for 225 yards and three scores. Greg McElroy has thrown for 1,913 yards and 13 touchdowns as Alabama’s quarterback.

Alabama’s other clear strength is its defense where the Tide are holding opponents to 10.9 points and 239.3 yards per-game. Alabama has allowed just 728 rushing yards through 10 games. The Mocs have had success passing the ball this year as B.J. Coleman has thrown for 2,312 yards and 17 touchdowns. Containing Coleman will be the key for Alabama to cover the point spread odds once they are released.
