The Sooners are 4-0 against the Mountaineers since West Virginia joined the Big 12 in 2012. The Mountaineers’ last win in this series came in the 2008 Fiesta Bowl when they routed the Sooners 48-28 as a seven-poing underdog. Oklahoma can clinch the outright Big 12 championship tonight with a win over West Virginia and an Oklahoma State loss to TCU.
According to ESPN.com, both of these teams are ranked in the top 15 of both the college football playoff ranks and AP Poll this week. This game tonight will mark the first regular season matchup between these two teams with both ranked in the AP Top 15 since 1958 when Oklahoma rolled to a 47-14 win.

OUR PREDICTION: The Sooners have rolled since early-season losses to Houston and Oklahoma but they’re just 1-4 against the spread in their last five road games and are 0-5 against the number in their last five games following an ATS loss. On the other side, the Mountaineers are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games in November and are one of the only teams in the conference to play defense. It’s supposed to be cold and potentially wet tonight in Morgantown, which should favor the home underdog, especially with Oklahoma practicing in picture-perfect conditions all week in Norman.
