No. 2 Alabama favored to win title
The third college football playoff ranking has been revealed and just like last week, Clemson, Alabama, Ohio State and Notre Dame are in the top 4.

Clemson remained the top team in the rankings and would play No. 4 Notre Dame if the playoffs were to start today. No. 2 Alabama, meanwhile, would get a shot at redemption versus No. 3 Ohio State after the Buckeyes knocked the Crimson Tide out of the playoffs last season.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag currently list Alabama as the favorite to win the 2016 national championship at 9/4 odds. Defending champ Ohio State has the next best odds to win it all at 3/1, while Clemson is 13/4 and Notre Dame has the longest odds at 8/1.
Those teams currently on the outside looking in include Oklahoma (10/1), Oklahoma State (12/1), Iowa (18/1) and Florida (20/1). The Cowboys and Hawkeyes would most likely earn a spot in the playoff rankings by winning out, while the Sooners could sneak in despite having one-loss (assuming they and not OK State run the table). The Gators could also crack the top 4 if they can knock off Alabama in the SEC title game this season.
