CINCINNATI, OH (The Spread) – No. 22 Rutgers and Cincinnati both look to stay in the Big East race on Saturday when the two meet at Noon ET on the Big East Network.

Cincinnati is 7-2 on the season, 3-1 in the Big East and 6-0 at home. Rutgers is 8-1 overall, 4-0 in the Big East and 4-0 on the road. The Bearcats are 6-2 against the spread while the Knights are 6-3 ATS this year. Cincinnati has won five of its last six against Rutgers.

Trends show that the underdog is 5-1 against the spread in the last 6 games of this series. Cincinnati has covered in its last 6 Big East games while Rutgers 4-1 ATS in its last 5 road games.

Rutgers is coming off a 28-7 win over Army last week after losing their prior game, 35-23 to Kent State. Cincinnati is scoring 34.2 points per game this season on offense while the defense is giving up just 18.8 points per contest. The Bearcats are being led by running back George Winn, who has rushed for 980 yards and nine touchdowns this season.
