No. 7 Georgia Tech’s road to the ACC Championship takes a stop at Duke on Saturday when the Blue Devils host the Yellowjackets at Noon ET from Wallace Wade Stadium.

Bet Georgia Tech at Duke
Gerogia Tech is 9-1 on the year and 6-3 against the spread. Georgia Tech has won seven straight after losing 33-17 at Miami. The Yellowjackets covered the spread in six straight until coming up short last week against Wake Forest in a 30-27 win. Georgia Tech has won 13 of the last 14 meetings with the Blue Devils.

Duke is having one of its best seasons in year, jumping out to a 5-4 record with a 4-3-1 mark against the spread. The Blue Devils lost last week at North Carolina, which snapped a three-game winning streak. The Blue Devils are also 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five games.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have made Georgia Tech 13-point road favorites over Duke on Saturday afternoon. The over/under total for this game has been established at 59.

The Yellowjackets have one of the top rushing attacks in the country, led by the duo of Josh Nesbitt and Jonathan Dwyer, who have combined for over 1,900 yards and 26 touchdowns. The Blue Devils have a respectable defense that have been able to contain the run, but they have not faced a rushing attack like Georgia Tech’s.

Duke has struggled to run the ball, put the passing game has had a lot of success. Thaddeus Lewis has thrown for 2,428 yards with 15 touchdowns and five interceptions this season for Duke. The Yellowjackets have not done a good job of stopping the pass, which could give Duke a chance to score some points on Saturday.

The key in this game is simple. Duke needs to force Nesbitt to throw, where he has completed just 45 percent of his passes with 1,223 yards, six touchdowns, and four interceptions. If Duke can contain the run and make Georgia Tech a passing team while not allowing a defensive or special teams touchdown, it should be able to cover the point spread odds. If the Yellowjackets can continue to run effectively, Georgia Tech should have a win by more than two touchdowns.
