Arizona at Cal Pick

No. 18 Arizona looks to continue its push for the Pac-10 title on Saturday when the Wildcats travel to California to face the Bears at 10:20PM ET from Memorial Stadium.

Bet Arizona at California
Arizona is 6-2 on the season and 4-4 against the spread. The Wildcats have won and covered in three-straight games. Both of Arizona’s losses come on the road, and the home team has won the last four meetings in this series.

Cal is 6-3 on the season and 4-5 against the spread. The Bears have failed to cover in three straight and two of their losses this season come at home. Cal lost stud running back Jahvid Best to a concussion against Oregon State last weekend in Cal’s 31-14 loss, and Best will be unable to play this week.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL have made California 2-point home favorites over Arizona on Saturday night. The over/under total for this game has been established at 55.5.

Considering Cal lost its top player in Best, the point spread is surprising. The Bears struggled against the Beavers without Best and Kevin Riley may not be able to carry Cal on his own in this game. Riley has 2,005 yards passing with 14 touchdowns and three interceptions.

This pick comes down to what Riley is able to do against the Arizona defense, as the Wildcats should have some success against the Cal defense. Arizona has been better against the pass than the run this season, while the Bears are the second worst passing defense in the Pac-10. Look for Nick Foles to have a big game for Arizona and lead the Wildcats to another big conference win.

With the Bears without their top star, we suggest taking Arizona with the points in a low scoring game that will go under the 55.5 point total.

Our College Football Week 11 Free Pick for this matchup is: ARIZONA +2 and UNDER 55.5.
