No. 11 USC looks to avoid its third loss in the Pac-10 on Saturday when the Trojans host No. 25 Stanford at 3:30PM ET from L.A. Memorial Coliseum.

Bet Stanford at USC
USC is 7-2 this season and just 2-7 against the points spread odds. The Trojans defeated Arizona State 14-9 last week after falling 47-20 at Oregon a week prior. The Trojans have failed to cover in their last four games. USC is just 6-4 against Stanford since 1999 and lost the last meeting at home to the Cardinal, 24-23, in 2007.

Stanford is 6-3 this season and 6-3 against the spread. The Cardinal have the most wins in a season since 2001, as Jim Harbaugh has brought them into the top 25 rankings in his third season as coach. All of Stanford’s losses this season come on the road, but the Cardinal have only failed to score less than 24 points in a game one time this season.
Oddsmakers from online sports book have made USC 11-point home favorites over Stanford on Saturday afternoon. The over/under total for this game has been established at 55.

The Trojans have been a shell of their former self on offense this year, scoring just 28.2 points per-game thanks to having to play a lot of younger guys at key positions. Matt Barkley. Barkley has thrown for 1,839 yards and 10 touchdowns with seven interceptions. Stanford has struggled on defense this season, especially against the pass, so Barkley will get his chances to make some big plays on Saturday.

Stanford has been an offensive power, racking up 34 points and 443 yards per-game. The Cardinal have one of the top plays in the country in running back Toby Gerhart, who has rushed for 1,217 yards and 16 touchdowns this season. USC will have to stop Gerhart, as Stanford will look to control the clock with his running ability. If Gerhart can establish himself early, Stanford has a good chance to cover the 11-point odds. If USC can jump out quickly on offense and make this game a track meet, the Trojans will likely find a way to cover.
