SYRACUSE, NY (The Spread) – No. 2 Florida State looks to continue its crusade toward a national title on Saturday when it hosts Syracuse at 3:30PM ET on ABC.

Florida State is 9-0 on the season, 7-0 in the ACC, 5-0 at home and 7-2 against the spread. Syracuse is 5-4 overall, 3-2 in the ACC, 2-2 on the road and 6-3 against the spread. Florida State has won its last four meetings with Syracuse.

Syracuse is coming off a 20-3 win over Maryland last week. The Orange have won two straight entering this game, but are still averaging just 24.6 points per game on offense. The defense hasn’t been too bad this season, holding opponents to just 22.9 points per game. The offense is being led by running back Jerome Smith, who has rushed for 705 yards and 10 touchdowns. Terrel Hunt has thrown for 946 yards and seven touchdowns to go with seven interceptions.
