(The Spread) – The 2012 College Football Season is set to begin the 12th week of the season on Wednesday. Here is what the betting capital thinks of this week’s games.

The featured game of Week 12 has No. 1 Oregon hosting No. 14 Stanford at 8PM ET. According to oddsmakers at the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas, Oregon is the favorite at home, as the Ducks have odds of -21 points against Stanford. Oregon comes into this game at 10-0 overall, with a 6-0 record at home and 6-4 record against the spread. Stanford is 8-2 overall, but the Cardinal are 2-2 on the road and 6-4 against the spread. The Ducks have a history of success against Stanford, as they have won nine of their last 10 against Stanford and covered the spread in eight of those 10 meetings.

The other featured game this week also comes in the Pac-12 as No. 17 UCLA will host No. 21 USC at 3PM ET. Oddsmakers from the MGM Mirage have the Trojans as a slight favorite on the road, giving USC odds of -3.5 points at UCLA on Saturday afternoon. UCLA comes into this game with a record of 8-2 this season. The Bruins are 4-1 at home and 6-4 against the spread. USC is 7-3 overall for the season as well as 3-2 on the road and 3-7 against the spread. The Trojans have had a history of success against UCLA. USC has won five straight over the Bruins and covered the spread in the last three in this series.
