Bet Oklahoma at Nebraska
The Sooners are 5-3 on the season and 3-4-1 against the spread. Oklahoma has won two-straight following a loss to Texas, 16-13. All three of Oklahoma’s losses come away from their home stadium. Trends show Oklahoma is 20-2 in November since 2003.
Nebraska is 5-3 on the season and 5-3 against the spread. The Huskers have lost two of their last three and failed to cover the point spread odds in their last three games.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL have made Oklahoma 6-point road favorites over Nebraska on Saturday night. The over/under total for this game has been established at 41.5.
All three of Oklahoma’s losses came against ranked opponent and the low point spread odds suggest that the Sooners will struggle at Nebraska. Oklahoma is averaging six points more per-game than Nebraska, but the Huskers are actually giving up less points per-game.
Nebraska has the top scoring defense in the Big XII, giving up only 11.3 points per-game, but Oklahoma is not far behind, allowing just 12.6 points per-game. Like most close games, the odds favor the team with stronger quarterback play. Landry Jones may not be Sam Bradford, but he has still played at a high level for Oklahoma, throwing for 1,657 yards and 17 touchdowns on the year. Zac Lee has not had the same success for Nebraska, throwing for just 1,461 yards with 10 touchdowns and six interceptions.
