Updated BCS Odds To Win
(The Spread) – The 10th week of the College Football Season separated a number of teams from the national title picture. Here is an updated look at the odds to win the BCS National Championship.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Alabama is still the clear favorite to win, as the Crimson Tide have 4/5 odds. Other short odds to win are Kansas State (3/1), Oregon (3/1) and Notre Dame (10/1).
Alabama is No. 1 in the AP rankings and the BCS standings. The Crimson Tide are 9-0 on the year after beating LSU, 21-17, on the road. Alabama is on the fast track to the SEC Championship game with the win. They will host Texas A&M on the season.
Kansas State is No. 3 in the rankings and No. 2 in the BCS standings. The Wildcats are 9-0 on the season following a 44-30 win over Oklahoma State last weekend. Kansas State has picked up three straight wins over ranked teams. They head to TCU on Saturday.
Oregon is No. 2 in the rankings and No. 3 in the BCS standings. Oregon is 9-0 on the season after a 62-51 at USC last weekend. The Ducks still have at least two games against ranked opponents this year and will head to Cal this week.
Notre Dame is No. 4 in the rankings and No. 4 in the BCS standings. The Fighting Irish are 9-0 on the season after a 29-26 win over Pitt in overtime. Notre Dame has had five wins by seven points or less this year. The Irish will head to Boston College on Saturday.
