Texas is 5-2 on the season and 4-3 against the spread while Texas Tech is 5-3 on the year and 5-3 against the spread. The Red Raiders have hit the over in 6 of 8 games while the Longhorns are 3-3-1 when it comes to the over/under. Texas has seven of the last eight games in this series.

Tech averages 38.9 points per game on offense while giving up 32 points per game on defense. The Raiders are fifth in the country in passing yards at 359.6 yards per game. Seth Doege has thrown for 2,779 yards and 22 touchdowns to lead the Red Raiders.

In terms of Injuries, Texas receiver John Harris is out with a foot injury while Texas Tech cornerback Tre’ Porter is doubtful with a head injury and linebacker Blake Dees is questionable with an ankle injury.
