EAST LANSING, MI (The Spread) – No. 21 Nebraska looks to stay in the hunt for the Big Ten title on Saturday when it hits the road to face Michigan State at 3:30PM ET on ABC.

Nebraska is 6-2 overall, 3-1 in the Big Ten and 1-2 on the road. Michigan State is 5-4 on the season, 2-3 in the Big Ten and 2-3 at home. The Spartans are 3-6 against the spread this year while the Cornhuskers are 4-4 ATS. Nebraska has won its last four against MSU.

Nebraska has won its last two games and is coming off a 23-9 win over Michigan that put it in the driver’s seat for the Big Ten Legends Division race. The Cornhuskers are scoring 39.3 points per game this season and allowing just 25.4 points per contest on defense. The team has a strong rushing attack, but running back Rex Burkhead is questionable for the game with a knee injury. Quarterback Taylor Martinez is leading the offense this year, as he has rushed for 461 yards and six touchdowns while throwing for 1,781 yards and 16 scores.

Michigan State is coming off a 16-13 overtime win over Wisconsin last week. That snapped a two-game losing streak for the Spartans. MSU has had it last five games decided by four points or less. The MSU defense has been very sound this year, as it is holding opponents to just 15 points per game. The offense is struggling, as it is posting just 19.2 points per game. The team is being led by running back Le’Veon Bell, who has rushed for 1,061 yards and eight touchdowns.

In terms of Injuries, Nebraska receiver Taariq Allen is questionable with a knee injury while defensive end Avery Moss is out with a shoulder injury. Michigan State defensive lineman Brandon Clemons is out with a foot injury while safety Jairus Jones is questionable with an undisclosed injury.
