Mississippi State is coming off a 28-22 win over Kentucky last week. The Bulldogs have won two straight by a combined seven points entering this game. All three of the Bulldogs’ losses come against teams ranked in the top 20 of the BCS standings. Mississippi State is averaging 30.1 points per game on offense, while giving up 22.9 points per game on defense. The offense is being led by Dak Prescott, who has rushed for 490 yards and eight touchdowns, while throwing for 1,158 yards and five scores.
