COLLEGE FOOTBALL FREE PICK: Take Missouri. According to latest college football trends, the Gamecocks are 1-4 against the spread in their last five conference games, 1-4 ATS versus a team with a winning reocrd and 1-4 ATS in their last five road games. The Tigers, meanwhile, are 3-0-1 against the number in their last four home games, 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games following an ATS win, and 4-0 ATS in their last four games versus a team with a winning record. Redshirt freshman Maty Mauk put on a show last Saturday versus Florida, which has one of the top defenses in the country. Even in jumping into the top 5 in BCS standings Mizzou remains somewhat underrated considering its only a 2.5-point favorite against a South Carolina team coming off a loss to Tennessee last week.
