Clemson at Miami

The Hurricanes opened the year with four-straight games against ranked opponents and then were able to relax a little in wins over Florida A&M and Central Florida over the last two weeks.
Clemson entered the year with high hopes and a preseason top 25 ranking, but the Tigers are 3-3 on the season and 4-2 against the spread, losing to two ranked teams in TCU and Georgia Tech. The Tigers expected a lot from running back C.J. Spiller, but he has not excelled, rushing for just 466 yards and three scores through six games. Spiller has battled injuries, but still not given Clemson the punch it was looking for in the running game. Quarterback Kyle Parker has thrown for just 1,027 yards and six touchdowns with five interceptions while Jacoby Ford has 26 receptions for 358 yards. Overall, the Clemson offense ranks in the bottom half of the ACC in most categories. On defense, the Tigers have surprised, allowing just 15.3 points and 270.2 yards per-game. The Tigers are second in the conference ins passing defense and third in rushing defense. DeAndre McDaniel is tied for the nation’s best in interceptions with five, while the Tigers as a team lead the ACC with 10.
