Iowa State has dropped its last two games, including a 52-0 loss at Oklahoma last weekend. The Cyclones are giving up an average of 455.3 yards per game, including 219.1 rushing yards per game. This games marks the fourth ranked opponent Iowa State has played this season. Alexander Robinson has led the Cyclone offense with 488 rushing yards and five touchdowns while Austen Arnaud has thrown for 1,060 yards and eight touchdowns.
Trends actually favor Iowa State in this game as the road team is 4-0 against the spread in the last four games in this series. The Cyclones are also 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a straight up loss while Texas is just 1-5 ATS in their last six games as a favorite.
Texas receiver Gregory Timmons continues to miss action because of a neck injury suffered late last month while Iowa State receiver Darius Darks is questionable with a rib injury.
