Miami at UCF

No. 9 Miami continues its tour of the state of Florida on Saturday when the Hurricanes travel to Central Florida to face the Knights at 7:30PM ET from Bright House Networks Stadium.

The Hurricanes are playing their third in-state opponent on Saturday in the Knights. Miami is 2-0 against Florida opponents this year and 4-1 overall, with the lone loss coming in a 31-7 defeat to Virginia Tech. The Hurricanes have covered the spread in three of five games. Jacory Harris has thrown for 1,225 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season, but has seven interceptions on the year as well. Harris is the clear-cut offensive leader, as no other Hurricane has impressive stats. Javarris James has rushed for 297 yards and three scores while Travis Benjamin has 11 receptions for 234 yards and two scores. On defense, Miami is allowing 23.6 points per-game, but is holding opponents to 321 yards and has only allowed 857 passing yards in five games.
Central Florida is 3-2 on the year, but is perfect against the spread at 4-0. The Knights are 3-0 at home on the season with wins over Samford, Buffalo, and Memphis. Brynn Harvey has rushed for 536 yards and six touchdowns on the year to lead UCF, while Brett Hodges has thrown for 908 yards and six touchdowns with six interceptions. The Knights are allowing 20 points and 340 yards per-game on the season, but have allowed just 472 rushing yards through five games.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Miami 14.5-point road favorites over Central Florida on Saturday night. The over/under total for this game has been established at 47.
