Big XII Battle

No. 17 Kansas has survived a couple of scares in its last two games and the Jayhawks look to avoid another on Saturday at 7PM ET when they face Colorado at Folsom Field.

Bet Kansas at Colorado
The Jayhawks have beaten Southern Miss and Iowa State by a touchdown or less in their last two games to get to 5-0 on the year. Kansas is 2-2 against the spread, with both short comings taking place in the last two games. Todd Reesing has thrown for 1,579 yards on the year with 13 touchdowns to lead the Jayhawks, who have been without top running back Jake Sharp for the last two games. Toben Opurum has stepped up and rushed for 418 yards and seven touchdowns to lead the Kansas ground game. Dezmon Briscoe has 517 yards receiving in four games while Kerry Meier has 43 catches for 477 yards and five scores. Defensively, the Jayhawks have limited opponents to 456 yards rushing, but have given up nearly 1,300 yards through the air.
The Buffaloes are off to a 1-4 start with the lone win coming against Wyoming, 24-0. The Buffaloes have covered the spread in their last three games thanks to an improved offensive performance. Cody Hawkins has thrown for 1,113 yards and nine touchdowns in 2009, but has nine interceptions as well. Rodney Stewart leads the Colorado rushing attack, which is last in the conference, with 310 yards and three scores while Scott McKnight has 30 receptions for 337 yards and three touchdowns. On defense, the Broncos are last in the conference in points allowed per-game at 30.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL have made Kansas 9.5-point road favorites over Colorado on Saturday night. The over/under total for this game has been established at 56.5.
