No. 1 Florida will face its toughest test yet on defense when the Gators host Arkansas at 3:30PM ET from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

The Gators have started off with five wins, with their biggest win coming last week at LSU. Florida defeated the Tigers 13-3 behind a strong defensive showing. Florida held LSU to 162 yards of offense while forcing one turnover and five sacks. Florida has allowed the fewest points in the nation and is allowing the fewest yards per-game at 202. The Gators have also allowed the fewest passing yards in the country. Florida also ranks first in the SEC in points scored per-game at 39. Tim Tebow has thrown for 777 yards with seven touchdowns and rushed for 309 yards and five scores on the season. Jeffrey Demps has rushed for 390 yards with four scores as well. In five games, Florida has covered the spread in four of them, with the only short coming coming in a 23-13 win over Tennessee when Florida was favored by 30 points.
Arkansas is 3-2 on the year with its biggest win coming last week against Auburn, as the Razorbacks defeated the Tigers 44-23. On the year, the Razorbacks have covered three times in five games, but failed to cover when given 17.5 points against Alabama. This game will be the fourth game against a ranked opponent this year for Arkansas, but the Razorbacks have a chance to compete thanks to quarterback Ryan Mallett, who has thrown for 1,422 yards on the year with 13 touchdowns. Mallett ranks sixth in the country in touchdown passes and three of his receivers have over 300 yards receiving, led by Greg Childs who has caught 21 passes for 345 yards and three scores. Arkansas is leading the SEC in passing yards, but is second to last in rushing yards. On defense, the Razorbacks are second to last in the SEC, allowing 27.8 points per-game. Arkansas is also allowing the most yards per-game in the conference, giving up 398.6 yards per-contest.
