College Football Betting Trends
Arizona State
ASU is 1-5 against the spread in its last six games on grass and 0-4 ATS in their last four home games.
Washington State
The Cougars are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 against a winning team and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games following a loss.
Prediction:
These two haven’t met since 2016, but Washington State has won the last two encounters. However, ASU has covered the spread in four of the last five meetings with the Cougars. Washington State has been exposed the last two games, as their defense hasn’t been able to live up to the hype. However, that may not be an issue today. The Arizona State offense is really weak and not a unit that can produce a lot of consistent offense. ASU has to win with defense, which is has been able to do. However, the Sun Devils also haven’t faced much in terms of good offensive teams. They will today. The Cougars will challenge them in a way they haven’t yet and I think it’s going to be a problem for ASU. I just think this is a bad matchup for Arizona State.
