LOUISVILLE, KY (The Spread) – No. 8 Louisville looks to make a statement on national television Thursday night, as it hosts Rutgers at 7:30PM ET on ESPN.

Louisville is 5-0 on the season, 1-0 in the AAC, 3-0 at home and 3-2 against the spread. Rutgers is 4-1 overall, 1-0 in the AAC, 1-1 on the road and 2-3 against the spread. Louisville has won three straight over Rutgers.

Quarterback Gary Nova has thrown for 1,171 yards and 13 touchdowns while Paul James has rushed for 573 yards and six scores.
