BYU at UNLV

Since losing out on a perfect season No. 18 BYU has gotten back to being a dominant football team and the Cougars look to continue that trend on Saturday at 10PM ET when they travel to UNLV to face the Rebels

at Sam Boyd Stadium.

The Cougars lost 54-28 to Florida State at home three weeks ago, and since have rolled past Colorado State and Utah State. Max Hall continues to be on of the top passers in the nation and the top quarterback in the Mountain West Conference, as he has thrown for 1,403 yards and 11 touchdowns on the season. Hall also has thrown 10 interceptions on the year. Dennis Pitta, McKay Jacobson, and O’Neill Chambers each have over 200 yards receiving on the year while Harvey Unga has rushed for 345 yards and five touchdowns. On defense, BYU hasn’t been dominant, ranking in the middle of the conference in all major categories.

UNLV is 2-3 on the year and is coming off a 63-28 loss to Nevada last weekend, where the Rebels allowed 559 yards rushing. UNLV ranks fourth worst in the nation in rushing yards allowed. On offense, the Rebels have been led by quarterback Omar Clayton, who has thrown for 983 yards and five touchdowns. Ryan Wolfe has caught 36 passes on the year for 420 yards while Phillip Payne has 33 receptions for 359 yards. Channing Trotter has led the rushing attack with 297 yards and six touchdowns, but the Rebels rank third in the conference in fewest rushing yards.

Oddsmakers from online sports book BetOnline have made BYU 17-point road favorites over UNLV on Saturday night. The over/under total for this game has been established at 64.
