Bet Toledo vs. Boise State Odds
Before we make a prediction, let’s check out the current point spread.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made Boise State a 39-point favorite over Toledo in Week 6. The over/under total for this matchup is 57 points.
This will be only the second game the Broncos have played at home this year. They’re 1-0 at Bronco Stadium, although they failed to cover as a double-digit favorite against Oregon State a few weeks ago. They’re currently 4-0 on the year with a 3-1 record against the spread.
The Rockets are 3-2 on the year and 3-2 against the spread. They’re an impressive 3-0 on the road this year and haven’t failed to cover in one of those games yet. They’ll face a much stiffer challenge this Saturday, however, their biggest test of the year.
The Prediction:
It’s hard to pick against Boise State given how much fire power its offense has and considering it covered as a 43.5-point favorite last week at New Mexico State. That said, this could constitute a letdown game for them, seeing how it’s a non-conference matchup against a team from the MAC. Toledo is 8-2 against the spread in their last 10 games following an ATS loss and 4-1 against the number in their last five road games versus a team with a winning home record. My prediction is Toledo will surprise some people this Saturday and keep the game within 39 points. That doesn’t mean the Rockets will keep the game close, but 39 points is obviously a lot.
