(The Spread) – After an exciting week of college football action last Saturday, the attention turns to Week 7. Here is a look at the opening odds for each of the Week 7 contests.

The featured game of Week 7 is the annual Red River Rivalry with No. 13 Oklahoma meeting No. 15 Texas from the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Oklahoma is a 3.5-point favorite in this game against Texas on a neutral field. Texas is 4-1 on the year and coming off its first loss of the season last Saturday to West Virginia. Oklahoma is 3-1 on the year. The Sooners are 2-2 against the spread this season while the Longhorns are 3-2 ATS. Oklahoma has won 8 of its last 12 against Texas.

The other featured game comes in the SEC as No. 9 LSU hosts No. 3 South Carolina at 8PM ET. According to oddsmakers, the Tigers are a 2.5-point favorite at home against the Gameocks. LSU is 5-1 on the year and 2-4 against the spread. The Tigers are coming off a loss at Florida last week. South Carolina is 6-0 on the season and 5-1 against the spread. The Gamecocks have already gotten off to a 4-0 start in SEC play. LSU is 10-1 against South Carolina at home.
