NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (The Spread) – No. 23 Rutgers hopes to continue its improbable run up the rankings on Saturday when it hosts UConn at Noon ET on ESPNU.

Rutgers is 4-0 overall, 1-0 in the Big East and 1-0 at home. Connecticut is 3-2 overall, 0-0 in conference play and 1-1 on the road. Connecticut is 2-2-1 against the spread while Rutgers is 2-2 ATS. The home team has won five of the last six in this series.

The big issue with Connecticut is offense, as it averages just 23.2 points per game. The Huskies are 113th in the country in rushing, posting just 112 yards per game. Defensively, UConn is allowing just 15.6 points per game.

In terms of Injuries, Rutgers running backs Paul James (ankle) and Savon Huggins (lower body) are both questionable for this game. Connecticut quarterback Casey Cochran is out with a wrist injury.
