BCS Championship Odds
(The Spread) – The 2012 College Football Season is five weeks complete. Here is an updated look at the odds to win the BCS National Championship.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Alabama is still the clear favorite to win it all, as they have 7/4 odds to win the title. Other short odds to win are Florida State (4/1), LSU (5/1) and Georgia (6/1).
Alabama is off to a 5-0 stat after beating Ole Miss, 33-14. The Crimson Tide are among the best in the country on defense, allowing just 191.6 yards per game thus far.
Florida State is now 5-0 after a 30-17 win at South Florida. The Seminoles had scored at least 49 points in every game prior to South Florida. FSU is averaging 544.6 yards per game on offense while the defense is holding opponents to just 200.8 yards per game.
LSU is off to a 5-0 start as well following an unimpressive 38-22 win over Towson. The Tigers haven’t looked that great recently, as they beat Auburn, 12-10 two weeks ago. The LSU defense is giving up just 221.8 yards per game right now.
Georgia is 5-0 on the season after a 51-44 win over Tennessee. The Bulldogs have scored at least 41 points in every game thus far and are averaging 536 yards per game on offense.
