LEXINGTON, KY (The Spread) – No. 6 South Carolina hits the road for SEC action on Saturday when it takes on Kentucky at 7PM ET on ESPN2.

South Carolina is 4-0 overall, 2-0 in the SEC and 1-0 on the road. Kentucky is 1-3 overall, 0-1 in the SEC and 1-1 at home. The Gamecocks are 3-1 against the spread this season while Kentucky is 1-3 ATS. South Carolina is 11-1 against Kentucky all-time.

Offensively, the Gamecocks haven’t been too bad either, scoring 36.3 points per game. The offense is being led by running back Marcus Lattimore, who has 320 yards and 6 TDs on the season.

Kentucky is coming off a 38-0 loss to Florida last week. The Wildcats have now given up at least 32 points in all three losses and are allowing 29 points per game on the year. The Wildcats are only scoring 23 points per game this season, but still have a respectable offense. Quarterback Maxwell Smith has thrown for 966 yards and 8 TDs this season.

In terms of Injuries, Kentucky defensive tackle Mister Cobble is doubtful for the game due to an infection while tight end Gabe Correll is questionable with a hip injury. South Carolina running backs Shon Carson (wrist) and Brandon Wilds (ankle) are both out for this game.
