Michigan State is 3-1 but coming off a pair of shaky performances. The Spartans lost, 20-3, to Notre Dame two weeks ago and then struggled mightily in a 23-7 win over Eastern Michigan last week. The issue for MSU has not been defense, which is giving up just 11.8 points per game (11th nationally). The issue is on offense, where the Spartans rank 104th in scoring at 21 points per game. The team is being led by junior running back Le’Veon Bell, who has 610 rushing yards and five scores, but has done so on 117 carries.

In terms of Injuries, Ohio State defensive end Michael Bennett is listed as questionable with a groin injury while running back Warren Ball is out with a foot injury. MSU tackle Fou Fonoti is out for the game with a foot injury as well.
