The Huskies are 2-1 on the season after beating the Trojans 16-13 for Steve Sarkisian’s biggest win in his short head coach career. Washington held USC to 110 yards passing in the win while quarterback Jake Locker threw for 237 yards and had a rushing touchdown. The lone loss this year for Washington comes at the hands of LSU, by a score of 31-23 in the season opener. On the year, Locker has 811 passing yards with five touchdowns to lead the PAC 10 conference. Five different Huskies have over 100 yards receiving as well, led by James Johnson, who has 183 yards. The rushing game has been led by Chris Polk, who has 241 yards on the ground. Defensively, the Huskies rank second to last in the conference in rushing defense.

Stanford is also 2-1 entering Saturday’s game with wins over Washington State and San Jose State, while losing to Wake Forest 24-17 in week two. Quarterback Andrew Luck has thrown for 639 yards and four scores this season while running back Toby Gerhart has rushed for 316 yards and four touchdowns. Return man Chris Owusu has two kick returns for scores on the season as well, with a return average of 52.8 yards, which is tops in the nation. As a team, Stanford is third in the PAC 10 in points scored but is third to last in passing yards allowed on defense.

Oddsmakers from online sports book have made Stanford 7-point home favorites over Washington on Saturday night. The over/under total for this game has been established at 50.5.
