ORLANDO, FL (The Spread) – No. 12 South Carolina looks to pick up a road win on Saturday when they take on Central Florida at Noon ET on ABC.

Central Florida comes into the game 3-0 overall, 1-0 at home and 3-0 against the spread. South Carolina is 2-1 overall, 0-1 on the road and 1-2 against the spread. South Carolina has won three straight against UCF, but the Knights have covered in the last two meetings.

Trends show that Central Florida is 4-1 against the spread in its last 5 home games while South Carolina is 8-3 ATS in its last 11 games against a team with a winning record and 6-2 ATS in its last 8 non-conference games.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, South Carolina is the favorite on the road, as the Gamecocks have odds of -7.5 points at UCF. The over/under total has been set at 53 points. The over/under total hasn’t changed since opening at 53 points.

South Carolina was off last week but is coming off a 35-25 win at home against Vanderbilt two weeks ago. The Gamecocks are averaging 30.7 points on offense, but the defensive is surprisingly allowing 25.3 points per game. Quarterback Connor Shaw has thrown for 661 yards and six touchdowns while rushing for 202 yards this season. Mike Davis has rushed for 341 yards and three touchdowns on the year.

Central Florida is off to a 3-0 start thanks to a 34-31 win at Penn State two weeks ago. The Knights are scoring 36.7 points per game on offense and holding teams to just 12.7 points per contest. Quarterback Blake Bortles has thrown for 816 yards and seven touchdowns to lead the offense. Running back Storm Johnson has rushed for 305 yards and six scores as well.

In terms of Injuries, South Carolina center Cody Waldrop (foot) and linebacker Kyle Morini (elbow) are both questionable for the game. Central Florida has no injuries to report.
