Updated BCS Odds To Win
(The Spread) – The 2012 College Football Season is in full swing and conference play is beginning across the board. Here is a look at the updated odds to win the BCS National title.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Alabama is still the clear favorite to win it all, as they have 8/5 odds to win the title. Other short odds to win are LSU (4/1), Florida State (6/1) and Georgia (7/1).
Alabama is 4-0 on the year after a 40-7 win over Florida Atlantic. The Crimson Tide have allowed just 21 total points in four games while scoring a total of 168 points. Alabama faces Ole Miss at home this week.
LSU is 4-0 as well after beating Auburn on the road, 12-10. The Tigers have outscored opponents 157-41. LSU hosts Towson this week.
Florida State is 4-0 overall and the Seminoles had the top win from last week, beating Clemson, 49-37. The Seminoles have now given up just 40 points on the year while scoring 225. FSU heads to South Florida this week.
Georgia is now 4-0 on the season after beating Vanderbilt, 48-3. The Bulldogs have scored 190 points while giving up just 66 points. The Bulldogs will host Tennessee this week.
